Back in 2006/2007 JBA Consulting Engineers, a world-wide MEP / FP / Life Safety / Tel-Data / Accoustical design firm, was challenged with providing BIM designs for their clients. Like all other large MEP firms at that time they realised that there was a true need for quality MEP BIM models for consumption in their BIM model designs. While there were several content providers already out in the industry there was a true lack of industry knowledge and engineering experience among them. This lead to the idea of providing a high quality resource where building product manufacturers could receive consultation for their BIM implementation strategies. Thus BIMAdvent™ was born....

BIMAdvent™ was officially formed September, 2010. Our headquaters office is in a tenant suite next door to JBA Las Vegas worldwide headquarters. BIMAdvent™ has a network of Beta testers from several worldwide Architectural & MEP firms that ensure that the BIM models we create are industry tested and quality checked to the highest available standards. We garauntee a high quality product that is industry tested and approved.

Several BIMAdvent™ employees participate on BIM advisory boards, including boards with Autodesk, BICSI (Founding Member), Smart Building Alliance, InfoComm,  and FCSI among others. BIMAdvent™ is also very active in giving back to the community of BIM users by teaching classes at several industry organizations such as Autodesk University, ClubRevit User Group, and Revit Technology Conference.
